BHYC encourages members who do not wish to race to sail on race days to take advantage of the patrol boat cover. Those wishing to potter/cruise around the race course during race days MUST Sign-On using the appropriate sheet at the Sailing Centre, and patrol boats will be alerted to their presence. The Race Officer will inform helms of the race course and advise as necessary. It is important that boats stay within agreed sailing areas, keep clear of marks, start and finish lines and return to BHYC with the racing fleet, when they should inform the Race Officer and Sign-Off at the Sailing Centre.
Dinghy cruises are organised during the season; arrangements are outlined in the sailing programme and detailed in the Newsletter and on the Club notice board shortly before the event.
