Dinghy Cruising and Pottering |
Members may wish to take advantage of the safety boat cover offered to BHYC racing events outside the harbour, but not compete. Those wishing to potter/cruise may sign on the appropriate sheet at the RaceBox and safety boats will be alerted to your presence. The Race Officer will inform helms of the race course and advise as necessary. It is important that boats stay within the agreed sailing areas, keep clear of the start and finishing lines and return to BHYC with the racing fleet and sign-off at the Race Box. It is essential that helms sign the indemnity form in the Race Box before their first sail of the season. |
