DEEP WATER PONTOONIt has come to my notice that a number of club members are overstaying their welcome on the deep water pontoon. The berth on the far end of the west side is intended for boats (cruisers and motor boats alike) to load and unload. The remainder of the pontoon is for Club boats and for the occasional use by member's boats. By our agreement with the harbour Company, club member's boats should not be left on any of the pontoons for longer than 12 hours. Leaving your boat on the pontoon over the weekend is not acceptable – it violates our agreement with the harbour company and makes access difficult for others. If this causes you a problem, please contact Ray our boatman or Roger Herbert the Rear Commodore Sailing. Chris Wilkinson |
