A message from our Commodore

Welcome to Brading Haven Yacht Club. We were formed over sixty years ago to provide waterborne activates in the sheltered waters at the eastern end of the Island. We are based at the far end of Bembridge Harbour with our own moorings and boat parking facilities.   If you don't have your own boat to sail, the Club has a number of boats used for training or available to hire for racing. The Club is also a Recognised RYA Training Club covering all the dinghy courses and basic powerboat training.

For those that love the water but might not want to go out on it all the time the club provides a bar and restaurant facilities. We have full range of social activities, such as live music, ladies' lunches, a bridge group and guest speakers as well as formal and informal dinners and dances. We invite visiting yachtsman and sailing rallies to enjoy our amenities and we are known to be one of the friendliest Clubs on the south coast. Please do call in and visit us or contact us for more information.

Our members also benefit from having reciprocal arrangements with other RYA Sailing Clubs based around the county whilst also being able to take advantage of reduced ferry travel with both Wightlink and Red Funnel, reduced membership of the Bembridge Coast Hotel Leisure Club and discounted clothing from Hudson Wight to name a few.

These web pages endeavour to provide all the information you need to make the right decision to join us. If you are already a member and wish to suggest improvements, comment on our facilities or even offer up your services, track me or any other committee member down on the water or at the bar; failing that simple email me using the link below.

Enjoy our club and happy sailing!
