Prospective Members' Page

We welcome new members who are interested in sailing. Dinghy sailors, cruiser or motor boat owners are equally welcome- even if new members do not own a boat they are welcome as long as they are interested in sailing or learning to sail. Beginners can join our training sessions, or relearn old skills, and crewing opportunities are a good first step. All can enjoy the views of the harbour, boats and the tranquil scenery from the comfort of the bar, lounge and dining room.

For those wishing to sail we offer you:

Moorings for craft up to 26 ft long

Dinghy park

Slipways from which to launch your craft

Pontoons from which to go afloat and come ashore

Club tenders to reach your moored craft

Club dinghy racing throughout the year from March to December

RYA training courses from Spring to the Autumn

Dinghy, Cruising and Motorboat sections

It should be noted that membership of the Club does not guarantee the availability of mooring or boat parking facilities.

Facilities ashore include:

Club house with bar, catering, and changing facilities

Comprehensive social calendar

A Bridge Section whcih meets weekly October to April

A Ladies Luncheon group which meets monthly

Private car park opposite club house

Management of the club is through a number of volunteer committees headed by the Management Committee which meets monthly and is chaired by the Commodore.
