Message from Class Captain

High Noon - October 27th 2007

He couldn't lose, no how, Streets ahead of any other Scow

All left in the lurch, At Old Church. So, Barry tarried on the turn

To give the lads a chance to learn. Generous to a fault, Thinking he could not be caught.

But he forgot that Wooden Earee, Calls Lady Luck his “loving dearie”.

When shuffling the cards of fate, She treats him as her special mate,

And so he gets a deal, the heel!

The wind shift duly came, At Earee's secret sign, And swept that artful rogue,

Ahead, across the line.

Thus, cups are won by one-two-one, Not by any natural skill, Just sheer, demonic will.
