2025 RYA Week: Start Racing

RYA Start Racing: This course is the natural progression from Stage 3 / Stage 4 and is designed to allow you to learn the fundamental of racing.

It will go into detail of:

1. Rigging
2. Launching
3. Starts
4. Tactics
5. Food and Hydration

It will introduce you to racing and the technical aspects starting, which side of the course to sail, racing rules of sailing.

Cadets must be able to swim and be 8 years and over.
