Cadet Powerboat week

During the week, participants will work towards gaining their Powerboat Level 2 certificate, developing essential skills such as boat handling, low- and high-speed manoeuvres, safety awareness, and navigation. Cadets will gain confidence in operating a powerboat safely and effectively in a variety of conditions.

In addition, sailors will begin working towards the Safety Boat course, gaining an introduction to rescue techniques, assisting other water users, and understanding the responsibilities involved in safety cover on the water. This provides a valuable foundation for those interested in supporting club activities or progressing further in powerboating.

This course is open exclusively to cadets aged between 12 and 18, ensuring that training is tailored appropriately to this age group in a safe and supportive environment.
