Future Sailors Program Level 2 Block 2
During the practical sessions on the 21st and 22nd, sailors will concentrate on improving their tacking and gybing techniques. Emphasis will be placed on smooth execution, maintaining boat speed, and effective coordination throughout each manoeuvre. Sailors will build confidence in changing direction safely and efficiently, while adapting their technique to different wind conditions.
The workshop session on the 20th will focus on nutrition for sport. Sailors will learn about the importance of proper hydration and balanced nutrition, and how these contribute to energy levels, concentration, and overall performance on the water. This session aims to help participants develop good habits that support both sailing and general physical activity.
Overall, this week combines practical skill development with an understanding of personal performance, helping sailors to become more capable, confident, and prepared both on and off the water.
