Christmas events at BHYC.

New Year Party 31st December

How 2025 has flown! Why not join us as we see in the New Year at the Club for just £25 per person . Guests are welcome and the sign-up list is now in the Club foyer. There is a choice of Meat or Vegetable Lasagna, both served with Garlic Bread and Salad. The dessert choices are White Chocolate & Raspberry Roulade or Cheese & Biscuits. If you want to make up a table, please just bracket the names together on the list. Alternatively email social@bhyc.org.uk and we’ll add your names for you.

Some of you will have already heard Lewis play at the Club or elsewhere on the Island. A seriously accomplished guitarist and talented vocalist, he’ll be playing many well-known tracks with something for everyone.

Training At BHYC

Brading Haven Yacht Club is proud to be an RYA Training Centre, offering a range of sailing and powerboat sessions for both adults and children. Whether you’re completely new to the water or looking to build on your existing skills, our friendly instructors are here to help you gain confidence and enjoy your time afloat.

We offer private lessons as well as group courses, all designed to suit different experience levels and learning goals.

Galley News This Week

This week Barbara is making a Malteser cheesecake. We will be serving roast loin of pork and Isle of Wight roast rump of beef all served with crispy roast potatoes and creamy cauliflower cheese. Vegan and vegetarian options available too.

Welcome to Brading Haven Yacht Club.

The Club is a family friendly club offering dinghy sailing, racing and social sailing, kayaking, gig rowing, model yachting and stand-up paddle boarding. We support a year-round racing programme and actively support our youth sailing development with RYA qualified instructors and race coaches. We also have a cruising section open to all BHYC members sailing and motorboat who enjoy boat rallies, suppers and social events.

Brading Haven Yacht Club is an RYA Recognised Training Centre offering everything from starting to sail to dinghy instructor and race coach qualifications to powerboat courses and individual coaching. We are renowned for having the best and safest water on the Isle of Wight.
