Family Sailing & Movie Night Sunday 8th June

Bring the whole family along for a fantastic evening on the water! Our Family Sailing & Movie Night is designed for both children and parents to enjoy together, whether you’re complete beginners or experienced sailors.

Families will have the opportunity to sail together before heading ashore to relax with the movie Home, enjoy a delicious meal, and take part in a fun bracelet-making craft activity.

Time: 5:00pm 9:00pm
Cost: £30 per person (includes food)

Summer Sailing Race Series

Make the most of the glorious weather – the Summer Series kicks off on Saturday 6th June, with a start time of 14.30h

Rib Safari and Water Confidence Day - 5th July

Join us for an exciting RIB Safari, a fast-paced adventure perfect for families and ocean lovers. Or choose to try kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding or dinghy sailing, all with instructors on hand. All the activities are designed to be fun, safe and to make sure you enjoy every minute on the water, whether you’re an old hand or a complete novice.

The Future Sailors Programme - Starting June 9th

The Future sailors programme aims to give cadets key skills for sailing while being fun and exciting. The programme is made up of 6 blocks of 3 evenings between 5pm and 8pm spread between May-July, and a 4-day course at the end.

There are 3 Levels:

• Level 1 Beginners
• Level 2 Intermediate (recommended holding a stage 2 or equivalent skill level)
• Level 3 Advanced (recommended holding a stage 4 or equivalent skill level)

This weekend Barbara is making a Baileys cheesecake. We will be serving roast loin of pork and Isle of Wight roast rump of beef. All served with crispy roast potatoes and creamy cauliflower cheese. Vegetarian and vegan options available too.

Welcome to Brading Haven Yacht Club.

The Club is a family friendly club offering dinghy sailing, racing and social sailing, kayaking, gig rowing, model yachting and stand-up paddle boarding. We support a year-round racing programme and actively support our youth sailing development with RYA qualified instructors and race coaches. We also have a cruising section open to all BHYC members sailing and motorboat who enjoy boat rallies, suppers and social events.

Brading Haven Yacht Club is an RYA Recognised Training Centre offering everything from starting to sail to dinghy instructor and race coach qualifications to powerboat courses and individual coaching. We are renowned for having the best and safest water on the Isle of Wight.
