BHYC Mermaid Sponsored Regatta 2026
The rescheduled Dinghy Regatta took place on Sunday 13th September. The wind was ideal coming from the west, however it was a little overcast. The numbers participating was disappointing, however, those who took part had fun! One race was held for each class and the courses were kept simple. Solent Scow Championship
Sixteen Solent Scows entered the re-scheduled Solent Scow Championship organised this year by Bembridge SC with RIB assistance from Brading Haven YC on Saturday evening. Unlike the originally programmed day (26 July) when racing could not take place due to strong winds, conditions were really rather pleasant with a F3 SSW breeze. Great Bembridge Paper Boat Race 2026
Brading Haven Yacht Club hosted the Great Bembridge Paper Boat Race again this year, with visitors and Club Members joining in the fun. Bembridge Harbour Authority organised building sessions and ferried contestants and spectators to the Club pontoons - all part of the Family Fun Weekend.
