BHYC Regatta Prize Winners 2025
The BHYC Mermaid Summer Regatta enjoyed perfect weather conditions across two days of racing. On Saturday, 20 boats took to the water for an exciting day of competition. The fine breeze and clear skies made for excellent sailing and close racing throughout the fleet. Sunday saw an even bigger turnout, with over 27 boats lining up to race. Alongside the racing fleet, there was plenty of social sailing on the water. More »

The Governor's Trophy 10th August.
It was touch and go whether we would run the race - as the wind was virtually non existent, however, with good communication abou the wind from Mike Samuelson on BSC, 'Seabreeze', who was out in the bay, racing the Redwings and Duncan who was down at the RNLI open day at the lIfeboat pier, I decided to go for it! RYS Sailing Week
It's been wonderful to see the Club buzzing again with our junior and youth cadets. This week marked the start of our RYA courses, from Stage 1 right through to Start Racing and Sailing with Spinnakers .
