RYA Sail Training Week 2026 » RYA Stage 3

RYA Youth Learn to Sail Stage 3: This course is the natural progression from Stage 2 and is
designed to allow you to sail a small single handed dinghy independently in any direction.
It will go into detail of:
- Rigging
- Launching
- Using rope and knots effectively
- improving your sailing techniques by deepening your knowledge and skills.
It will introduce you to racing and the technical aspects of how a sail and boat works as well as some of the rules of sailing.
Cadets must be able to swim 25 metres and be 8 years and over.
