BHYC Cadets

The BHYC Cadets is truly the beginning of many great things. Tilly's journey started at the age of eighttearful and uncertain and there were moments when it seemed she might not continue. But this weekend, she proudly represented Cowes at the Sea Cadets District Regatta.

Across six races, Tilly placed 3rd, 1st, 2nd, 1st, 3rd, and 2ndearning 1st place overall. It's a remarkable achievement and one that reflects the confidence, skills, and racing experience she's developed through the BHYC Cadets sessions.

We're incredibly proud of Tilly, and her story is a wonderful reminder of how the support and opportunities at BHYC can help young sailors thrive.

Tilly is an assistant instructor and also is a Cadet representative who gives her time volunteering at BHYC.
