BHYC Celebrates 75 Years with a Spectacular Sail Past

On Friday, 22nd August, Brading Haven Yacht Club welcomed past Commodores and their partners to join the Commodore and Flag Officers for a very special occasion, the 75th Anniversary Sail Past and buffet lunch.

The Sail Past began at 11am, with a colourful procession of boats gliding past the clubhouse. From dinghies and cruisers to kayaks and gigs, the variety of vessels was a true celebration of our club's spirit. It was especially heartwarming to see sailors of all ages out on the water, sharing in this historic milestone.

Following the Sail Past, guests enjoyed a delicious buffet lunch and the chance to reminisce about the club's proud history and vibrant community.

A huge thank you goes to all the volunteers who dedicated their time and energy to make the event such a success. Your efforts created a memorable day for everyone, and we are truly grateful.
