BHYC Cadets End of Summer Activity Week Report

The final week of summer marked an exciting time for the BHYC Cadets, with Activity Week, Cadet Prize Giving, and the Family Party all taking place.

Over four days on the water, cadets had the chance to make new friends, sail a variety of boats, and develop their kayaking and paddleboarding skills. A highlight of the week was an adventurous RIB ride around Priory Bay, followed by fun beach games.

The closing day featured the BHYC Olympics, bringing together teamwork, laughter, and plenty of competition.

A big thank you goes to Abi, our Senior Instructor, and the entire instructor team for making the summer such fun. The cadets had a brilliant time, supported not only by the instructors but also by our wonderful shoreside volunteers and parents especially those who baked cakes and picked up the doughnuts, thank you for volunteering.

The week ended with the Cadet Prize Giving and Family Party, celebrating the achievements of all our young sailors and the supportive BHYC community.
