The Governor's Trophy 10th August.

It was touch and go whether we would run the race - as the wind was virtually non existent, however, with good communication abou the wind from Mike Samuelson on BSC, 'Seabreeze', who was out in the bay, racing the Redwings and Duncan who was down at the RNLI open day at the lIfeboat pier, I decided to go for it!

A small fleet attempted the short course of G, O and Pepe. There was one start and one race only!

The fleet managed to do two rounds although the wind and currents at buoy Pepe proved to be challenging!

The club Swan, 'Swanee", sailed by Steve and Jan Lymn won the race on handicap. Followed by James Gabbani and Sarah Jane Weigall in their scows.

Thank you to the support boats and to the Commodore who stepped in as ARO at the last minute.
