Tamangure

Ben and Anna are on the last third of their voyage having exited the Caledonian Canal at Inverness in late June. In the last few weeks they have visited Peterhead, Arbroath, Eyemouth and Tynemouth before a 40 hour passage into Lowestoft last Thursday. They are currently marking time in Shotley Marina in Harwich before crossing the Thames Estuary. Planning to be back in Bembridge mid August.
Their 31 ft yacht Tamangure has performed brilliantly as has their 25Hp Betamarine engine. Although the weather has been challenging especially in Scotland they've enjoyed some great sailing conditions. Top speed off Aldeburgh yesterday of 8.7 knots with a very favourable tide!
We look forward to seeing them both back at BHYC soon.
