Brading Haven Gig Rowers Keep Warm These Winter months

There is nothing better than wrapping up, getting on the water, getting a blast of fresh air, working as a team and getting fit while enjoying the sea these Winter months. Gig Rowing continues all Winter with rows planned each week in advance. If you are interested to try Gig Rowing or have a love of the sea and have sailing experience and would be interested to be a Cox email us on gigrowing@bhyc.org.uk. For the Cox involvement this is very flexible based on a person's availability each month and planned ahead - we would love to hear from you.

Nerthek Restoration Making Great Progress

Our amazing volunteers have continued their dedicated and hard work getting Nerthek, our historical wooden Gig ready for Spring. The teamwork has been incredible and special thanks goes to Tony Burton who oversees the maintenance of our Gigs and who has been co-ordinating all the planning. Enormous gratitude to all the volunteers from sailing and rowing who have helped with this project so far. It's been amazing to see the progress made on her.
